La Lancha Beach
¿Would you like to learn how to surf or already know how? If so, then this is the perfect beach for you. It’s also a very family-friendly beach, it amazes everyone who visits it for its clear water and white soft sand. This beach however is in Punta de Mita, Nayarit about 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta.
Surprise! This beach also has a mangrove swamp next to it which you will enjoy walking by while on your way to the beach, the walk is about 7 refreshing minutes getting in touch with nature.
Las Animas Beach
This is a unique gorgeous beach which you can only arrive by taking a water taxi at Los Muertos Pier. The beach is located south of Puerto Vallarta, it takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes to arrive at the shore that is totally worth it, and who knows if you’re lucky you might encounter dolphins or whales along the way!
Colomitos Beach
The special beach is best known for its crystal clear water and its size since it’s a hidden mini beach, also located south of Puerto Vallarta and you can only arrive on the water it’s right before Las Animas Beach, it takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes to get there on a water taxi.
Punta Negra Beach
This is one of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta; Punta Negra beach is one of the best ideal family-friendly beaches for its beautiful blue calm water & white soft sand.
It’s a wide beach that has plenty of space for fun recreating activities under the bright sun such as volleyball, snorkeling, and boogie boarding or to relax under the shade of the trees while listening to the waves.
Los Muertos Beach
Most popular, ideally visited for its commodity, shallow clear water, the family-friendly beach! You can grab something to eat, relax, and play while having the ocean right in front of you.
This beach also has a pier which you can see a great view of the mountain & also fishes from down below!; On this same pier is where you can grab a water taxi to visit other beaches such as Las Ánimas, Colomitos, Quimixto & Yelapa!
