Guadalajara – The Land of Tequila
Guadalajara is the capital of Jalisco State of Mexico, known as the Pearl of the West for its warm and pleasant climate. Guadalajara was founded in 1542 and there live more than a million and a half habitants, being the second largest city in Mexico.
Guadalajara is one of the most appreciated for its historical, architectural and cultural destinations. The city is also noted for its international events and its people friendly character. Guadalajara is considered one of the cities that best represent the Mexican culture, arts and crafts, Charrería, his taste for tequila and mariachi. Some of its main attractions include the Basilica of Our Lady of Zapopan, Belen Cemetary, the Cabañas Cultural Institute and of course, its historic center that gathers the most important cultural treasures of the city.
